9. Meeting the client brief (U3 M4:D1)

Learning Outcome 4 (U3): Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief.   M4 (U3): Demonstrate how the exported media product meets the client brief. Front Cover: Exported document in JPEG form Double Page Spread: Exported document in JPEG form How I exported the media: I believe this meets the client brief as I have created a Front Cover and a Double Page Spread that is suited to my target audience. As well as this all the content on both documents meets the brief as they are both original pieces of work. The photos were taken myself, I interviewed the artist Lil-J to gain the Question and Answer article information and I show case North London talent. This can be very easily expanded upon in order to create a whole magazine. Lil-J is just the main feature of the first issue of the magazine.

8. Post-production techniques and processes (U3 P5)

Learning Outcome 4 (U3): Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief. Front Cover and Double Page Spread Final: Front Cover Process: Double Page Spread Process: My final change was switching round the title colours so that the long box was in Gold and the small boxes were blue like the front cover. I switched them round initially to see if it would work, but after having the FC and DPS next to each other it didn't look right. Review: From "Fader" magazine I believe that I successfully have created a magazine front cover and double page spread that will attract the audience that I am aiming for. I also feel like I met the brief in creating and developing original content that will attract for the North London region. The front cover is attractive and eye catching and the point of this magazine was to take something that isn't as widely listened to and...

P4: Create production materials to be used in the original media product M3: Create production marterial that follows the codes and conventions of the chosen genre for the media product   Proof of Model Consent: This was an important process as it allowed me to be 100% sure that I have permission to take photos of my model, and use them for the front cover of my magazine without the chance of having any legal action taken against me. As well as this, it was important that I got witness signatures as it helps to authenticate the agreement, this is further backed up by the photographs of the signing. List of assets: Model - Lil-J signed model consent form Tiger Brazil - Photo shoot director Harrison leighton - Photographer Photos taken:   The photos were taken at the location of the location consent form.  Proofing: Setting up the software: To create and develop the Front Cover and Double Page Sprea...

6. Plan and Develop Pre-Production Materials (U3 P3:M2)

P3: Develop pre-production materials for an original media product M2: Legal and ethical issues are identified and resolved for the planned production Gantt Chart: Used in project management, a Gantt chart provides a  graphical  illustration of a schedule that helps to plan, coordinate, and track specific tasks in a project. This will help me keep track of what part of the project I am working on, and whether I am on track or not. It will also allow me to know how much more work I need to do until the project is completed. Model Release Form: A  model release , known in similar contexts as a liability waiver, is a legal  release  typically signed by the subject of a photograph granting permission to publish the photograph in one  form  or another. This is means that no legal action can taken against me, and once the  photos are taken I can publish them on my from cover for issue 1. If my model was unde...
